Originally hailing from South Florida, Dr. Lokitis completed her undergraduate education at the University of Maryland, College Park, and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Her exceptional skills in prosthodontics earned her special honors upon graduation. She further honed her expertise through a one-year General Practice Residency at York Hospital in Pennsylvania, where she received advanced training in cosmetic and restorative procedures, including veneers, oral surgery, implant surgery, and dental trauma management. Her residency also provided valuable experience in treating children, the elderly, and special needs patients.
Dr. Julia has also gained recognition for her remarkable talent in baking. Her intricate gingerbread creations are crafted with great attention to detail and ooze imagination. As you can see pictured below she has created very cool designs including a replica of the Vice Presidential residence, which she was able to present to former Vice President Harris, and a fully functioning carousel decked out in Washington Capitals gear. Dr. Lokitis’s gingerbread houses showcase her inventiveness and dedication, adding a touch of festive cheer to all who experience her sweet artistry.
