As a Customer Support Specialist for the Professional Markets Group, Brenda is a key part of making sure renewals run as smoothly as possible. She plays a crucial role in fighting for our clients if claims are made and things aren’t going the way the customer needs, showcasing her dedication tenacity and expertise.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love that I get to learn something new almost every day. It’s always interesting and keeps things fresh. Plus, listening to Mr. Gerner and Andrew is awesome—they have a an eloquent gift that makes everything sound so cool and insightful!

What inspires/motivates you?
MY MORTGAGE ???? LOL

How do you like to unwind after work?
I love to cook from scratch. It’s my way of unwinding—there’s something so relaxing about finding a new recipe to try and getting creative in the kitchen. Plus, it’s always fun to taste the results and maybe even discover a new favorite dish! (Brenda made a chili recently that took the office by storm)

What’s a memorable experience you’ve had at R.K. Tongue or working in insurance?
I’ve got two! Celebrating the 100th Year Anniversary of R.K. Tongue Co., Inc. – at the Center Club in downtown Baltimore and Achieving My 15 Year Milestone last year!

If you could get rid of one staple Thanksgiving food what would it be?
(Brenda initially put up a staunch defense of all the foods on her thanksgiving plate but after a while settled on) “Cranberry Sauce! Its good on a leftover sandwich the next day but I could lose it from my plate on the day.”

If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
My Best Friend from High School – Sylvia – She passed away two years ago and I miss her so much!
